What about it broke? What caused it to break? What did Lexus tell you about fixing it?

The lid that opens broke off from the hindge and Lexus said you damaged it so won't be covered under warranty. I am done arguing with them. They wanted $2800 installed for it

Wow! That must be to replace the entire rear console. Is the car a Luxury model with all the controls?

What is the part that you purchased to fix it?

Have you done any DIY projects on your cars? Hope you did... I see it's been a while since you posted, I'll try to help you buddy! Nobody is replying since most likely nobody had to do any work like that yet.

I have a rear seat sitting in my garage from base model, I believe it's the same model for Fsport. You will need to take rear seat completely out. Lemme try to help you with seat removal rear seat removal for now, i'm not great with write ups though due to my english vocabulary limitation.

1. Bottom seat portion pops up just push up harder right above floor mats.
2. Back seat portion... You remove 4x 14mm screws. Two on each end and two right below armrest. Carefully unplug 2x yellow airbag connectors on each side.
3. Remove seat belts from plastic rings that attached on top of the seat. I used flat screw driver to un-click, don't worry you won't break them.
4. Now back seat just being hung on two hooks, just pull it up carefully and remove from the car, manage to get though seat belts. I would recommend to remove a screw that holds a middle seat belt on bottom too to make pulling seat out easier.

Next steps I need to figure out how to pull armrest when I find a time... but it should not be hard once seat is pulled out.
