Default 2016 GS GPS issues

Two things I noticed from my first long road trip over this weekend:

My clock was ahead of the GPS ET notification by 4-5 minutes. So example, I would arrive at 10:30 when it still shows 10:34 and then the system abruptly stops navigation and announces arrival.

About ~1.5-2 hours into each drive, my GPS stopped announcing directions, however it still showed the routed course with the blue line. So example, as two freeways diverged I was suppose to keep right as indicated by the GPS, but I missed and kept going straight and the intended routed blue line scrolled out of view.

I know there was some issue with Lexus Enform but I am wondering if any this had anything to do with it.

Did you reset the system? There was a pretty widespread issue with '15-16 navigation several weeks ago.

If this thread is mainly referring to the pink screen flash issue then I have resolved that problem (disconnected battery) and haven't experienced it since.

The two main issues now are:
- an unsynchronized clock with GPS ET info (happened only once so far)
- GPS doing half-*** job (happened twice so far) where voice guidance and turn-by-turn visual info stops after a while but the guided route is still highlighted (until I clear the navi address)

The quick fix to the second issue so far was to pull over and turn off/on car to reboot navi... while suffering a great deal of embarrassment with my visiting in-laws (the one time I was trying to prove Lexus may be on par with their German counterparts). I dunno guess I expected more out of a 60k+ car

For future reference, if you need to reboot the nav, you can simply hold the power/volume **** down for a few seconds and it'll reboot. No need to pull over and restart the car.

Thanks! I didn't know that.

Have you looked in the setting to see if the clock is set to synchronize with the GPS?
