Default Piping accent light inside car

Has anyone been able to mess around with the piping light inside on the doors? Anyone made it brighter? Looking to make it more noticeable like the new s class lighting

I'd be interested in knowing this as well.

Not yet, but I plan to start this week. I want to replace the original LED strip with something brighter and amber/orange. The factory white is too cold and dim.

I'll have to remove the door cover first, then see what's behind and how hard it is to replace the original strip. While I'm at it, I intend to replace the door opening handle LED as well and maybe the LED on the window switches.

I would love to replace my foot well lights for something with a blue accent.

I'm going to that as well. I got all the parts in the mail. This is super easy compared to replacing the LED in the doors.

If it's not too much trouble, could you post directions on how you removed the door panel when you are done? I've got a rattle in there that the dealer has thus far been unable to fix. Thinking about giving it a go myself.

Could you post details of where you bought your supplies from along with model # and maybe a pic when the job is completed. Thank you
