Help with lease - 2015 GS 350
Hi all,
I need some help with my lease negotiation. I am looking into leasing a GS 350 AWD with Nav, 52K MSRP. Received the following lease offer: 36 months, 10K miles per year, 2K down, 370 per month. Is this a good offer? Is there some room for further negotiation? My credit score is in the high 700s and I am on the West Coast (Washington).

If you could wait until MID JAN the lease price will go down when the 2016s start showing up in most larger dealerships.
I spoke to a new car lease/sale broker in L.A. and he reported that he had access to one 2016 and it was leased immediately close to $800 a month. He also mentioned that he envisions the 2016 leases to be closer to $600 a month (zero down with zero at signing 10K a year for 33-36mos) when the GS Fsports are available.

MSRP is 52K, the purchase price is 49K, cap cost is 47K, residual is about 31K, I don't have the money factor on the quote, it looks like they are using higher 7K down payment but a rebate is going towards to net 2K total out of pocket. However, this is probably increasing my state tax.

For the past three months, that's about what they are leasing for based on the MSRP. However, I would negotiate 12K a year vice 10 at that price.

Also, check craigslist cars and type in lease. When you do you might find a broker service in your area. If you do, call them and ask if they can beat the dealership numbers. 99% of the time they do and can. Here in SOCAL, most brokers will even drive the car to your house and let you take care of the paper work.
Most people are apprehensive using a broker services. But they are basically glorified dealers that rid the middleman which saves you money. In fact, the brokers I talked too use Toyota/Lexus finance for the lease.
I generally reach out to brokers first to get the their price then forward to local dealership to see if they can match. In the case of my new 2015 GS350 Fsport they did. If I would have waited a week I was going to get an Infiniti Q70 sport and the brokers blew away any dealership 200 miles radius from my house. However, Lexus beat them by almost 100 dollars a month and I really do not want to lease a car for 39 months (minimum). Finally, my current lease is the longest one to date. My last three were 24 or 27 months. I liked those periods is because when I turned in my car, the new models have gone through a total face lift/upgrade. If I would have taken a 24mo lease through Lexus my payments would have jumped to $585 a month. For that amount I'd rather lease a MBZ E550 sport.
send me a private message if you want me to help you get the price down. I can talk to the dealership on your behalf and see where that goes.

36 mnth/10k - $160 out of pocket/down to cover dmv fees. $470 a month payment which includes all taxes, Acq fee, etc.
Keep in mind I'm in NY and I've read on this site we get higher lease rates.

I just got 385 before tax a month with 2K down on 55.7 MSRP, I worked with 5 dealers, one gave up completely and told me they can't touch this number, the other two told me I should be all over this deal, the fifth is somewhat competitive but the best they could was 410 before tax on a 54.3K MSRP vehicle. I am thinking to take that deal.
