Load Capacity Reduced? Dealer Mod?
My car went in for some minor brake service at 300 miles, some rust on rotors. I was washing it today and noticed on the inside drivers door a new sticker was placed. Pretty sure it wasn't like this when I took delivery a few weeks ago. What the heck is this sticker?

You must have changed (modified) something from OEM, or Lexus is changing the load rating they originally had.

They sanded my rotors for service. Either it was 8lbs upon delivery (they added to the car after it hit port, which I think is normal) or they did more than sand the rotors and didn't tell me. Some history on the car is that it was probably on their lot a few months prior to my purchase a few weeks ago, hence the squeaky brakes, hence the service/sanding which I initiated. I'm sure someone here knows about these stickers.
Just weird that it looks like the original weight was taken off and the tech added a more recent sticker.

My 2011 Camry SE had a sticker similar to that explaining that the car was modified thus the load capacity was reduced. I never thought too much about it, as the sticker was there from day one. Just take the sticker off, 8lb is nothing.

I had the same sticker on my car when I picked it up back in 2013. I thought it had something to do with either the Fsport wheels or accessories they add when the car comes into port, such as side sills, floor mat, trunk mat, etc...

Thats a load of crap! Go inside and take a crap (a big one) and get that 8lbs back.
I can see a something substantial 200lbs or something but that's ridiculous.
Just always fill your gas tank to almost full (minus one gallon).
