Talking My 1 year old GS

Just turned 1 and hit 12K miles a couple of days ago, still running like a champ!

I've had no issues at all with this beast, no wind noise, no power loss, nothing. Only thing it needed was oil change.

I haven't done anything to it and it is as stock as it can be, except for the calipers.

The urge to mod is very strong with this car. If only I have more greens in my wallet.

Yes, original tires and brakes. Surprisingly my tires are still thick! and I drive aggressively.

Good to know...I sure would like to get 20k out of them before I switch to a longer lasting tire

At this rate I think I can go all the way to 30K, maybe even push it to 40K. I hope they will last long enough until my lease ends in 2-3 years.

No kidding. I don't even have my own time to enjoy a hand wash. But you lose some gain some.
Looking good FilyO. Isn't this the same spot you took pictures before?

Yup, the same parking lot at work. Nobody parks at the 8th - 10th (rooftop) floors so I use it for pics.

I think it's the 3M FX Premium film and it's about 40/30% but it's not as dark as I would like it to be. I originally wanted the Llumar films cause it's a little darker but it was out of stock.

I saw a clear 3M film that rejects like 99% heat. I forgot what it was called but they want $500 for it and it's clear so u have to double it with a darker film but man there was no heat going through at all. Maybe if I upgrade to an LS I'll get that one.

Hey my first mod was the red-out taillight. Cheapest mod ever-$12
And the LED trunk light......love these budget mods where you don't have to dip into the rainy day fund

Those were my first mods as well! ItzFilYo I have the same Lexus logo front plate on my ride. Running it in the back until I get my custom state issued plates I ordered. Did you buy it from eBay?

Yes I did.

Here in CA plates seem to be optional. As long as u don't get pulled over for some stupid stuff. A dude at work went through 3 cars without even changing the dealer plates. lol He first got a black IS250 then a white IS350 and now a white RC350 they all still had dealer plates when he traded them in. He must've gotten the 2 year leases cause he shuffles through cars pretty quick!

Nice! That's where I picked mine up as well. Mines just placed there as a space saver while I wait for my plates. We get paper tags here that are usually valid for 60 days from purchase. I got my regular state issued plates already but there is no point in putting them on as I will be getting my personalized ones soon. Also Its better then having free advertising for the dealership.
