Chrome door handle covers anyone?

Instead of calling it Bluetooth touch locking, we should call it Bluetooth "enabled" touch locking/unlocking, then less confusion...

The factory packs plenty of esthetic chrome trim, including: the grill surround, the fog light surround, the window surround, the boot lid lip, the exhaust tip surrounds, the badges, and even chrome on the interior door trims.
There's an abundance of threads on "blacking out"...

Other's may like more chrome. Heck, some may want to chrome wrap their whole car. If it floats their boat, go for it. But that doesn't mean I can't laugh at it when they pass by.

Wow, that's what I call too much chrome.
That RC has a bit too much chrome for me.

The keyless entry and start feature is accomplished using RF transmitters and proximity sensors, no bluetooth involved.
As for the chrome handles, I like the chrome handles, but not with "Lexus" etched on them.

Lets not use the word "bluetooth" because bluetooth is not involved in the technology we're talking about at all.

I can't remember who it was years ago that called it Bluetooth, when it is actually just wireless like you say.
So it's a wireless enabled touch locking/unlocking system.
Btw, your LS comes with real chrome door handles as standard fitment? And your blacked out front bumper is standard from the factory too. You've even got chrome on your flanks I notice?
I have to gloss black vinyl wrap my front bumper, and get chrome covers for my door handles as well; all aftermarket work.
I won't be chroming my flanks, though my old 3GS has chrome flank trims...

I have chrome door handle covers on my black 2010 RX350. The main reason I got them was to complement the factory chrome wheels that came with my vehicle. I've used the touch sensors on the door handles many times with the covers on and it hasn't ever been a problem. I feel the chrome door covers only look good on darker colored vehicles.

That picture is an F Sport LS, but the regular LS also has the chrome door trim, and the middle of the spindle grill is a dark metallic grey.
