what brand brake pad did you guys use to replace OEM f sport brakes?
i'm at 24k miles and it's now squeaking at braking.

Can you take your front wheels off, clean the wheels and brake callipers and pads thoroughly with detergent.
The soft hi performance pads, hence the copious amount of brake dust produced causes the squeaking.

I spent thousands replacing my rotors, pad, and shims, and this did nothing; the squealing comes back as brake dust accumulates.

Can use aftermarket Akebono ceramic pads, but will lose some braking power.
Though ceramic pads are great for racing, because the racing really increases their heat, hence stopping power...

I will probably replace mine with the autozone cmax gold, it's a ceramic pad that will not dust like the oem pads...

I had a 2007 tl type s and it had the same issues with dusting and squealing...the brakes on that car were brembos, I replaced the brembo pads with the autozone cmax gold and couldn't have been happier, almost zero dusting and performance was pretty good, worth the trade off to get rid of the dusting

Since there's no point in making a second brake pad post, I'll slightly high jack the OPs post (sorry op).

I'm having a huge issue with brake dust and rail dust. Can anyone suggest pads that have similar or better performance with less dust but more importantly that would keep the rail dust to a minimum?

Engineering is a compromise, unless there's a huge breakthrough.

The soft, dusty, squealy carbon pads give more braking power under ordinary street conditions.

The ceramic pad are quieter, but a little less stopping power.
However, ceramic pads are superb under racing conditions, because racing heats the ceramic pads to higher temperatures where ceramic pads actually outperform carbon pads, which wear too rapidly under high racing temperatures.

It's sort of like a two valve head versus a four valve head; the two valve head has more bottom end torque, while the four valve head has more top end power.
Or like a narrow bore long stroke engine, versus a wide bore short stroke engine that excels in the upper rev range.
