The last couple of days I've noticed a metal clinking noise coming from the right front wheel area when I go over bumps. The best way I can describe it is what it sounds like when there's a loose washer and nut on a bolt. A metal on metal sort of thing. Tonight I was able to replicate the sound I heard by pounding on the tire and got it on video and posted it below. Watch in HD to hear the sound I'm referencing clearly.


Any idea what this is?

A couple of things to consider:

1. Just had spacers installed a few days ago

2. Also diagnosed the "clicking brake while turning slowly" issue. Thread about it here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...wheel-tsb.html Wondering if this has anything to do with the noise.

I have an appointment with Lexus tomorrow morning to have the brake clicking fixed under the TSB and several other issues addressed. Mostly rattles...

Any input is appreciated.

I have an IS but I have the exact same noise, when going over bumps or turning left I hear a metal on metal tapping sound, sounds exactly like 2 coins hitting eachother and I can't pinpoint where it's coming from either. I brought my car in but they said to pinpoint exactly where they would have to take my dash apart so I said no thanks haha! I hope we can solve this issue! I just hope it's not doing damage. If you find anything out, let me know!

before i got my 4gs, i asked the service adviser about any random quirks of the 4gs, he said the f sport 2 piece rotors occasionally come in with a weird noise, and they change the rotors under warranty.
