Does anyone know what exactly happened?
I believe that changes the lock setting for when you unlock the the driver door. One setting unlocks all doors at the same time and the other only unlocks the driver door.

not much of a discovery but the HOLD button (upon complete stop, you can depress brakes and it will hold until you press gas). Had that feature in my '11 e-class and was bummed the '13 GS didn't have it. now it does and it's even better

I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like the car turns on the rear defrost (in addition to lowering the sunshade) when you put it in 'R'/reverse.

Set both front seats to "Auto" cool. The passenger seat will only cool if there's an occupant. Nice!

Does anybody know if there is a feature to roll down windows by holding unlock on keychain? Or something similar. I have this on my 2002 gs300 and its awesome for hot summer days when walking to your car in a parking lot

Yes. I had to have my dealership activate it, which they did for free. Now when I press and hold the unlock button on my key fob it rolls all four windows down and opens my sunroof.

Here's a new one that I haven't seen anyone else post and I'm not sure why it happens. I know it isn't the general hill brake - any ideas?

Next time after you've stopped your car (while in Drive), press on the brake pedal real hard to the floor. The car beeps and then an indicator comes on the dash - and the car won't move for about 5 or 6 seconds even if you let off the brake and then push the gas pedal. it freaked me out the first time I did it. I thought something was broken, but was able to replicate it.

I asked my dealer about the window roll down update a few weeks ago and the service guy had no clue what I was talking about. I have a '14 RWD F Sport. Is there something specific I should be asking for? Thanks!

I can't remember the specific name off the top of my head. If your service advisor doesn't know what you're talking about ask if a tech can come in and explain it to them, the service advisor may not be as knowledgeable about those features that can be turned on or off by plugging something into the computer.
