This is how the driver's and passenger seats look in my 2012 ES350 after only 5K miles. I am not a 400lb gorilla. Show that to the salesmen and ask if the ES is a better choice.

Actually the picture came in upside down.....this is the back rest not the seat cushion

Yeah my loaner ES had some really worn seats. I think it had like 14k miles on it. I was like dayuuuuuumm.

Not gonna get into an ES vs GS debate but as an ESh owner, I'm not surprised if the salesman is pushing you towards something that will make him more money. Best is to try each car and see if you want the cheaper and larger ES or the sportier and more luxurious GS.

Exactly what Kayman said. I'm in an ES loaner while my 13 GS F Sport AWD is being serviced. The ES gives no real feedback however I found that the highway ride was nice. Really floaty but nice. The car has a somewhat awkward throttle response as if you floor it, you will see the tach jump slightly then after a significant delay the power kicks in. I feel very disconnected from the road in the ES. My GS on the other hand gives real feedback I know what the car is doing and can predict its reaction.

All that being said I get why someone might buy an ES.
