Easier to just buy the resistors for the fronts and be done with it

Since you have resistors on the rear already you can simply add more resistors to the front lights. The rear resistors are canceling out the lack of current due to led's. As you are setup right now, the car thinks the front turn signals have burnt out since you do not have enough current flowing through the system. (I could be wrong with terminology, but this is what I understand)

I think the flasher relay is a far easier and reversible solution.

Simply google "lexus led flasher". You can buy a speed adjustable flasher unit to fine tune how you want the lights to flash.

LED flasher relay is located in the dash and can be found by activating your turn signals and following the ticking sound.
Do you have the part number for the relay? You said the relay is in the dash, how much work, in time, do you think it would take to access it?

4th gen GS have electronic flasher relay. Can't just swap the relay to cure the hyper flash. Inline resistor is the only choice.

Thanks for that. I apologize for my misinformation on the 4gs I assumed it was the same as my 3gs.

Just Fyi finding and replacing the relay took 5-10min with no tools other than a flat-head screwdriver for the under panel.

If the 4gs has an electric flasher relay, then yes add resistors to the front v3's.

I also replaced mine Prius and Sienna with Tap turn relay and it's much easier, also added 1 click turn signaling and other features.

I spoke with VLeds and they said I could just buy another pair of 6om resistors and that should fix the issue. I told them that I would prefer to have as few resistors as possible on my car as they get super hot. Plus my dealer sometimes leaves the hazards on when we bring it into service while the car waits to move into a service bay. Sometimes that could be 30 minutes before they turn it off. I spoke to the rep about what onexcite had mentioned, which was getting a pair of 3om resistors and attaching them using the inline resistor adapters. The rep said version 2.5 V3 Tritons already have the inline adapters so all I need is to get the 3om resistors and try it out. I hope this works as I don't want to put one resistor per bulb. I have the 3om resistors on order, so once I get them in I'll update everyone for future reference. The rep did mention that the 3om resistor will run hotter then the 6om and that they could get as hot as 350 degrees when left on for an extended period of time. I questioned how long is too long and he said the resistors could go well over a week constantly on and nothing will happen. So I do feel much better about these resistors after hearing that.

Update for whoever wants to do the V3 triton 2.5 gen turn signal mod. I finally got my 3om resistors in and they fixed the hyper flash issue. No need for 6om resistors at every bulb. You just need a single pair of 3om resistors like Onexcite said. I placed mine in the engine bay. Mounted them to the frame of my car using High temp 3M tape. Just wanted to let other members know so they don't make the mistakes I made and waste time and money doing this mod. The hassles are definitely worth the end result. I'm very pleased with this mod so far.
