14 RWD F Sport. I also had a horrible first few tanks of gas (less than 20mpg regardless of city/highway and driving style). I recently hit about 3k miles and then went on a trip out of town. 70-80mph on the freeway for nearly 400 miles and then the last 50 miles before fillup was in town driving. I got 28mpg. I think most cars are noticeably lower during the break-in period, and get better over the first 5000 miles, with the most improvement around 1-1.5k.

I had the same issue with my 14 when i got it. Now with 4500 miles and using 93 , i have seen a difference. I really see a difference in Eco mode , but it don't use it much.

I was averaging about 18 mpg in mostly city driving when I first got the car. Now I'm averaging about 23 mpg on mostly highway driving. This is driving in S+ most of the time, and I'm not light on the pedal at all, ever lol. The best gas mileage I ever got was on a 300 mile or so drive, at about 80-90 mph cruising, I averaged 27 mpg. This is on a '13 F-Sport btw ...

I have a fully loaded 2014 GS350 but not an Fsport. Although I very briefly tried Eco, Sport and Sport+, I do all of my driving in normal mode. I am averaging about 21 mpg, a mix of city and highway. We took one trip driving mainly 70+ that required two tanks of gas. Averaged 28mpg on the trip. My 2008 never got 28, but the 21 average is about what my 2008 got.
