the tire was $350 alone, to refinish the rim was $200 plus an alignment (it was needed) ...

Those tires are expensive, ($270 on tire rack), but $200 is really high for the rim repair (a new rim from Sewell is $371) and another $300 for an alignment?

I'd pay 200 a wheel to have my vossens fixed. I just bought 2 new ones and kept the curbed ones to fix and use again if needed.
