Car Repainted and Lowered, Happy once again!!
Most everyone knows what happened with my car here and how it was painted by a Lex dealer after a 5-10mph hit from someone and never matched after three times. Anyways after settling (had to delete previous thread due to settlement agreement) it with them I took it over to Honda. Alot of you are probably thinking Honda? Well they painted my Honda way back when I was in college and did a very good job. From time to time I would come in and say hi to the adjustor who handled the claim. At this point it really didn't matter who did it, as long as it was done right.
For the past 3 weeks I have been researching the '13 f sport and barely none are left. I love my color combo and did not want to get rid of it. I then researched leases and really had my stomach turn after learning how they really don't fit my lifestyle. With the goal in mind of purchasing my first home soon, I decided to not allow 33k to be offered to me for my car and took one last chance.
They put their best painter on the car. He had to paint the whole driver's side, hood, front bumper and passenger fender. Keep in mind the original damage on my car was just the front bumper and small portion of the fender. After getting the car back, this guy knocked it out of the park. The texture of the paint is back to OEM, the clarity of the paint is on point, the color match is very, very, very good! I was so thrilled to have my car back even though half of it is now painted.
So after all that, I decided to get my springs out that have been sitting in my closet since summer. Jacked the car up and went to work yesterday. Lowered it on RS-R super down. The car drives like stock, really nice!! I am going to be ordering 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers to complete the oem look.
So glad this is all over and I can start to wash the car again with pride!

glad you got your car back the way you want. all he did was blend the paint which is the proper way. just repainted my front bumper and hood, had to paint the fender and half the drivers door to blend all in. looks perfect.
