Goodness knows with all manner of debris flying off trucks and cars these days on our highways is there any suggestions out there I can take to protect against the the inevitable paint chips to the front of the car?

Lexus Canada offers a clear paint protection film for $500:

Anyone know the advantages and disadvantages with this option? Are there alternatives?

Xpel Ultimate is a good paint protection film.

I would definitely do it, I have 3M Ventureshield on mine. I wouldn't buy the dealer package, have a good pro do it once you take delivery.

Look into get the full hood and bumper done. I parked next to a ferrari the other day () and noticed the PPF line on the hood and bumper and it looked terrible.

i agree, get the full hood and bumper and make sure your edges are tucked.
