Not sure why the instruction pamphlet with these wheels say to go for 225 width tires if the car with the f-sport 19 inch rims standard come with 235 width. I went up by 10 mm to 245 for better choices of tires and there is no rubbing or issues at all. The speedo error is 1% which is nothing.
Yeah, I agree too, it is odd. Once they're mounted on the rims I'll see how they look before they touch pavement. I'll still be about to exchange if needed. I can only assume Lexus spec'd the sizes that way for only reasons they'll never tell us, perhaps even the overall look of the wheel/tire on the car.
Needs a bath and tires detailed, but here are some pics I took as soon as I got home. Only issue I had was with the TPMS sensors. I bought part # 46207-33021, and the dealer couldn't register any of them. They told me I should have purchased # 46207-30060, but that part says it's for an AWD and I have an RWD - and the right part number for that is in fact what I purchased... My service consultant is helping me out, so we'll see what happens. All in all, I'm still a happy camper!
Update on the sensors. I indeed needed to purchase part number 46207-30060. Thank you to Sewell for getting this corrected and sending me the right ones.
