March (GS) Incentives

Not all GS's are $50-$60,000, there are plenty in the $40's-50 range but that's not the point here, it relates to a potential trend, it's varying degrees across the country based on hh income and that the acceleration in car sales may begin to slow and thus cause car manf's to up their incentives which would be nice and incentives are the theme of the thread.
The wealthy may not be as affected, but people buying $55k cars as their only car aren't necessarily wealthy but comfortable for the most part (there are always exceptions).

Lexus has been offering a "pull forward" program where they will absorb up to 4 payment on current Lexus leases, plus $750 coupons, but nothing like the Dec to Remember event. Maybe the spring event will be good.

To qualify for the incentives though the sale would have had to be booked as December...so it would be included in the December figures, even if the car was delivered in January...

"Command Performance" Sales Event?
No details yet on the Lexus site, but it shows up on the homepage. Also found this:
It just talks about increasing awareness and bringing more people in to the stores, but nothing about special offers.

Great find, nice work. Sounds like Lexus is cranking up the tv time but also referring to it as a national sales event...hope they're going back to 27 mo leases vs 36 for the same terms. We were made one heck of an offer on a '13 BMW 535 M Sport today...very hard to pass up but we are waiting to see what the new GSFS incentives are. Nice thing about the 535 is it already has the 8 speed and maint is included.

Looks like i am not the only one here who came to this forum to ask about "Command Performance Sales Even", i feel this sales even it only for GS AND IS models. Looks like who ever is in the market for GSF also are looking at 535 M-Sport. It is for the same reason as "teejs" said i also backed out of 535 M-Sport.
Please post any details available soon
052SI, could you please share your deal details on 2013 535 M-Sport.

Hey guys here’s the "skinny" on the 535 M Sport and LCI
The LCI changes for '14 are as follows:
Very slight alteration to the lower front bumper/opening and fog light/trim
Slight alteration to the rear bumper and slight redesign to the rear tail lighting elements but not the shape of the light housings.
Slight interior enhancements including the updated I drive from the 7 series
Changes to steering feel
Slight improvement in engines efficiency for the TT6 N55 (the V8 is all new however)
Modest price increase
The overall profile of the car remains unchanged and should be shown next week in Geneva

With the very good chance the 14 GSF gets the new 8 speed and incentives on the GSF not so great, the BMW 535 M-Sport with its great incentives may be the way to go unless the Lexus March event proves to be better. I like the fact the BMW already has the 8 speed, is twin turbo, you can choose the interior trim with the M sport (we went with athrct wood) and the look with the M sport is awesome. I'm not a big fan of run flat tires but some are coming with the new run flat Michelins which are the best out there right now. Also the fact all maint is included, including brakes is another big plus.
The lease deal is 36/15, inceptions (1st mo, lic/reg only) at signing $663.00 per mo with tax incl'd, I have an excellent relationship with the GM of the dealership and he always does right by us, we are also top tier + credit.. This deal is even better than the deal we were getting on a $57k GSF (it was about the same payment but with $2500 due at signing) and this car is $63k with maint included.
Since both the M Sport and F Sport are excellent cars we'd be happy either way, but are going for the better value...let's see what happens.
I hope she gets either car soon to disctract her, as her Grandfather's condition has worsened and has about a 50/50 chance to make it.

I'd be interested to know what BMW's money factor and residual is on that 5 series...
