I believe the custom Red DRL require to remove the headlight, dis-assembly the housing, soldering the new red LED chips to the module. Lot of works involve.
And it's not legal in the States.

I remember this car, he is somewhere toward Russia if I am not wrong , and DRL he too k the headlights out and apart and changed the LED's in it, but I don't know if it's legal in UK , I know its illegal in the US and thats a nice ticket.and costly to fix it.

I don't think its legal in the US as red or blue are reserved for emergency vehicles I thought. In front lighting.
