Here are more pictures of my GS F-Sport in Liquid Platinum.
I thought I would share with all of you some information about the Lexus's paint advancements, "Two of the GS's optional colors are high-tech in new ways. Riviera Red actually contains glass flakes in the coating that, as one would expect, creates a shimmering brilliance to the exterior. Another color, the silvery Liquid Platinum, has been purposefully engineered to accentuate body-curves—as well as shine in different lighting conditions, whether it’s dull and cloudy or bright and sunny."

Congrats on the car. The paint tech isn't that new, and not exclusive to Lexus. It's likely the Xirallic additive made by Merck. Almost every major manufacturer uses this additive in specific colors. This was particularly important after the Japanese tsunami, as the additive is only made at one plant in northern Japan. Many auto manufacturers had to quickly make changes in their color offerings to switch to non-Xirallic alternatives until supplies could be re-established.
