She decided she wants to sell. Its at 160k mi. My parents have older toyota cars about 150k ish also, maybe this is better.
If I buy car and work on it (or replace AT), what would be a good price to get? Thx.
(found out that someone at mechanic shop said 2800. is that good price? take or pass?)

My parents did not want it as it had several other parts that needed replacing, so I decided to not take it from her (I was not going to be the buyer - was acting on behalf of parents). It would lead to putting in more money than thought. Since I had already fixed up their cars earlier, which are ready for another 100k+, they figured this lexus might be more than they can afford at this time.
