OEM midpipe for GS350 AWD
Looking to replace the midpipe on a 2007 GS350 AWD and after doing a search on the forum, seems like only aftermarket ones like Invidia and Megan pop up. This is for my mom's car so not really looking for noise or performance boost, just for it to run normal since I believe it currently has a hole in it and is loud.
A search for OEM ones leads me to these which are $1700 while it seems like the aftermarket ones are only $500-$700.

Would definitely consider an aftermarket one if quality is good and isn't loud but if OEM is much better I guess I'd be willing to swallow the cost.
Any advice on what to get and where would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks user KSAN for this. I was in the same boat for my 2006 GS300 AWD
His response:
"It is definitely cheaper to buy the invidia mid-pipe rather than purchasing the OEM mid pipe. I paid a local exhaust shop to do the install/ modification. The install was about 250 bucks, but it was well worth it. I also suggest you on purchasing new O2 sensors due to the old one probably rusted on pretty good + the wiring is tucked up all the way in the floor board. ( not sure how many miles you have on your GS but why not replace the 02 sensors brand new with a new mid pipe). The modifying that needed to be done on the AWD is the front transfer case wont clear the angle of the pipe, so it will be need to be cut and re welded on the drivers side. "
Hope this helps.

Take it to a muffler shop 40-50 bucks later and your good to go. Depending on how rotted the pipes are they can cut a section out and replace it, that would cost a bit more.
Personally I wouldnt spend money on an aftermarket pipe unless I was looking for hp increase. The stock exhaust is fine to fix, the oem had a design flaw with the clamps that hold the heat shield, have the exhaust shop remove the exhaust heat shields on both side, as they allow rust to form and buildup.
