Rattle Noise | passenger dashboard | 2008 GS
Just a couple weeks ago this annoying rattle started in passenger dashboard.
Anyone else have this issue?
Any suggestions / comments on fixing this would be appreciated.

Windshield clips? Dashboard clips?
I can't say for sure, of course - but I have been trying to combat some of the many creaks and rattles in my '10 GS350, there are tons of possibilities. My GS has been an unfortunate rattle box from the beginning, c'mon Lexus!
The worst offenders for me seem to have been the windshield clips (removing the lower windshield cowling from the outside of the car, just under the wipers, and coated the little white clips in rubber compound to prevent rubbing - however, one of mine had fallen off prior to trying to fix it). There are a number of posts and pictures of this one, for example:

The other main problem for me was the instrument gage cowling - super easy to pop out and line with felt tape (but this is a drivers side one).
If it's a dashboard clip issue (common the forum), best bet may be to try to stuff felt (or a thick sock) along the windshield or near the A pillars to keep it from rattling when driving.
Not much help, but it seems like that's what most of us are trying.
Keep us posted if you find a more specific solution.

LOL, I thought I was the only one that did the sock trick... Yeah , That was one of the worst rattles I had where the rear view mirror meets the windshield. Ever since I did that the rattle is gone.
Of course I still got the rattles from the plastic clips and wood trimming. Does anyone know where you can buy the felt ? I am going to give it a try
