Default let me tell you about my saga

Lexus call me last week to schedule a appt. for a recall on the fuel line gasket.....They looked over the car & diagnose that i have a oil leak at vvt line on the right side of the block. Of course im out of warranty...I google it & there seems to be a recall on this for the rx suv's & other models but not on my vin #.

Has anybody had this happen to them ?
I read about the rx's issue & it seems to be the hose that they used & the fix for it is to replace the line with an rubber & metal line or an all metal line.

I guess im on my own with fixing this one due to being out of warranty. Im just bringing this up to find out if anybody knows the if this fixed the problem ? if so whats the "new metal lines" part number ?

There are many recalls for the GS , you definitely should call the dealer, give them your VIN# and tell them you would like to do the recalls for the GS

Its just a gasket that leaks. Its easy to replace yourself.
