Rear driver side makes hauling noise between 40-45mph
My rear driver side make a houling sound when i drive between 40-45mph. I had bad tires in the back, so after getting new tires same thing. I took it back they told me it is the wheel it looked like it had some damadge on it, so i put in a brand new wheel there same thing.
But it is only between 40-45, i went up to 100mph it is fine. Could it be wheel bearing or does anyone have any idea??

My 2007 GS450h has this droning heavy bass sound from the rear under light acceleration load from 20-40 MPhil. Seems to go away past 50 mph. Sound is one ly when there is light load as I can coast at this speed and everything is fine. This seems to rule out the wheel bearing or tires wheels as a culprit. Tyranny bearing? Car had 151k miles. But runs great otherwise mechanically.

The road surface plays a big role in road noise. Most of the time, I don't get any road noise at all, but there are a few stretches of freeway where I get a loud howling noise (mostly on bridges or certain older sections of pavement) If you take the same route to work every day, it could be that the one section of loud pavement you regularly drive on happens to be in a 40 zone?

The original poster stated he just replaced new tires and the sound is still there.

Lower control arms
Upper control arms/replaced with upper chamber bars
toe links
trailing arms
rear shocks
I replaced all these and the problem went away, I was chewing the inside of the tires badly, as if my toe adjustment was off. All alignment shops said alignment was good, and my old bushings were good, but they were not.
