Winding/rattle sound at High RPM
I recently just noticed a strange rattle/winding sound at high RPM. It's only when I slam on the gas and normally occurs above 4500/5000. Has any one else had something like this happen? I have had the recall done on the the car this past December.
This past month I took it to Vegas and the Thermostat went out and they replaced that as well as some seals after I had it towed to the Vegas dealer. I had pulled over almost immediately since the temp gauge actually went all the way to cold rather than hot. After turning the car off and restarting it went all the way to the H. They said the motor seemed fine after they did the work on the car. Just curious if this could be a result of what had happened. My problem is it only happens every now and then. It almost sounds like a metal winding sound.
