06 GS300 AWD Front Tire Wear Issue
I have an 06 GS 300 AWD and the front tires are wearing so badly on the inside edge the dealer wouldn't rotate the tires. Any idea on cause. It seems to drive out straight and no indication that anything up front is worn or broken.

same here on my RWD except its even on all 4 tires. the inside is almost bald… i went to americas tire, firestone, and les schwAB… ALL SAID THE same the thing my alignment is off. firestone tells me our camber is aggressively set from the factory and thats why its wearing uneven in the inside. anyone else can chime in… i still don't believe them, but i am on my third set of tires with 40K miles….

War, what's going on man..hope all is well with you! As I said I would be, I'm lerking and always read I g/learning. I read this post and instantly thought about this thread I read a while back and you actually posted there as well, but wasn't sure if you followed up with the guy who had installed the bushings. Hope this helps both of you guys!

Not yet man and probably wont for a while.
I had wrote an entry in a previous post you had chimed in on, when I was speaking about the 430 w/ 100k on the clock but it had all those issues. Long story short, I decided to hold off on the purchase, got rid of the Denali (turns out it had a powertrain/front gear box issue), pay down some debt and put some money away for a down payment on a GS down the road. But I still lurk heavily on this site, almost daily, simply because this forum is so informative and I am in love with the car!
Side note: I wasn't aware you owned a 460!?!?! I thought you had a 430! Even better! Is the power/engine reliability/reputation the same as the 430? Aside from the tire ware issue, any other issues?

War:
Back in late October, I had PM'ed Angus regarding his inner tire wear issue and this is what he said:
"HI, my car developed the problem around 70K
I replaced the caster arm bushings (I think lexus calls it control arm #2) myself in about 10 min per side. Cost me $120.
We shall see if my tire wear gets better."
By now, i'd surmise he's had anywhere from 600-100 miles logged since October 24 and perhaps may be able to notice some difference.
Maybe shoot him a PM and see where he's at with the issue. Just a thought man! Though I'm not an owner, hate to see people go through unnecessary issues with their vehicles, especially when there might be a relatively easy fix.
Best of luck man!
