Custom DRL
Hey guys i just got my Aimgain front bumper and had some custom DRL Morimoto XDRL.5 retrofitted into the bumper. I also bought their exchange driver which hooked up to the low beam and when the low beam was turned on the DRLs went off. However with everything hooked up professionally the body shop could only get the DRLs to come on with the city parking lights on, so when all the lights are off so are the DRLs. I do not want to drive around during the day with the city lights, tail lights and DRLs on. Anyone have the schematic of the wires for the lights or know how to fix this issue? I did some searching and could not find anything, i also had the factory DRLs shut off by my dealer. Any help would be appreciated!

So you want your custom DRLs to be on during the day?
That's really easy..... Take the DRL's positive and negative wires off where you tapped into the city lights, and tap it into a 12v source within the car where when you turn on ignition, the DRLs turn on.
Check the fuse box in your engine bay to see if there's anything there that activates when you turn on the car.
GL! PM me if you're confused.... I can always show you what you need to purchase and how to wire the stuff up.

You'll want a sunload sensor wired to an ignition voltage source so the led light aren't on whenever the ignition is on. Good luck man, looks sick
