Keep the car, Get a new one or what
I bought a 06 gs 300 awd in 2009 had to pay cash $26,500 had 38K miles on it. I bought an extended warranty on it and I took it in at 95K miles to see what some noise was and they replaced the cams and also new rear shocks. (2 years ago or so), then at 140K miles I had to take it to sewell lexus to get the engine redone for that carbon buildup stuff. The only repair I have had to do was a rear differential leak around 135K miles maybe because I wasn't doing the alignment like I should. Anyway I am worried that when I hit 235K or 240K or something (every 100k MILES) the engine is going to have to be dropped out again and redone because of cabon buildup issue and lexus doesn't want to tell me the truth about if it is going to happen again. So I don't know if #1) keep it and put miles on it and if it happens it happens, #2) keep it as a spare car and only drive it when needed as a backup car 3) trade it in (but if I trade it in I don't think I will get anything, I have around 5K of upgrades done to it) and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car and I think since they did the engine on it I have basically a new car sort of. Any Advice? here are pics of the thing. (also I am looking to get a 4GS but I can't go higher then 35K because I will have to pay cash again for it).
I saw one on ebay sell for $8,888 and there is no way I would sell for that. I have around 160K miles but if I sold I would want $15K and I don't think that is even possible to get.

My lexus tech. Is a friend of mine and said to beat on it every now or then and some seafoam in it 10,000 miles to help carbon build up. But if the engine has been redone you should have higher compression pistons
