Default New GS430 owner, Needs advice on keys

Hello everyone,

I just purchased my first lexus this week and the car came with one keyfob only. No mechanical master key, nothing

I was doing some research online and found out that I can't program a new keyfob without a master key.

Am I screwed?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ES-350-IS-250-LS-460-Keyless-Remote-FOB-Control-w-new-uncut-Key-prox-proxy-OEM-/371064618604?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2006%7CMake%3ALexus&hash=item56652cbe6c&vxp=mtr

If above is true, is the dealer able to look into the system and duplicate a new master key?

After reading that ebay post, I got confused on whether one of the key fobs can be a master key or it is that one mechanical key in a black plastic sleeve from that ebay post the MASTER KEy.

Any input will be appreciated! Thank you very much.

A Lexus dealer should be able to program the keyfob.

The dealer can do anything at a fee. Programming a new key will cost about $250-$300 most likely. I was lucky my gs430 came with two keys. On the other hand my is300 has one key and I was quoted that price years ago to get an additional key. One day I'll get a second key for my is300, but that price tag is a bit to high.

My car came with only one key fob as well, of course the key fob has that physical key that snaps inside of it, but I called the dealer just to see how screwed I was if I ever lost both, they said they can recreate both based off of the VIN number. So, even if you lose your only key, you're technically not screwed!! Probably won't drive it for a few days though...

Now off-top questions, who has oem spring they want to get rid of? haha My car came lowered and I want to bring it back up!

Check out our website www.eternitykey.com click on video and you will see why you want our key,and it will be the last key you have to buy. Then click on order/order now to find the closest Lexus dealer near you that offers our key. Ask for it by name Eternity Key

Sorry guys, will post picture when I get home. I am away on a business trip at the moment.

@kuleaze, it is some lowering springs. I haven't gotten the chance to jack up the cars and look.

Car has around 100k miles. It looks like its still on original stock shocks. What are the chances the shocks are bad? My friend was saying these shocks are durable.
