Thanks man! I looked under there but it didnt look like it would fit. I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow! I read somewhere that it may not work if you dont have the updated navigation DVD. Is there any truth to that, that you know of?

You should be fine, my original navi dvd is still in there with he ivic with no problem. I would recommend that you mount the ivic (Velcro works wonders) and see how you will be mounting and angling the brains of the ivic to see if it closes properly, then run the cables and program and enjoy!

Got it installed today but can't get the confirmation beeps when trying to program it. Has anyone had this problem? It connects to my head unit with no problem but the ivic display does not come up. It displays some messages on the screen put the ivic screen never comes up! Of course there is no tech support on the weekend!

on your navigation system, press on INFO (on the left), do you have beeping off? make sure it's not off

and if you don't hear beeps, then it's not programmed correctly. keep on trying. read my review for more tips

You were right, my beep was set to off. The only thing is that even tho I wasnt getting the beeps when I was trying to program it yesterday, the yellow light never flashed like the programming steps said it would. What would happen if I unplug the cables on the ivic? Do you think this would be like a hard reset and then I could try to programming agian?

oh sweet! glad you are figuring it out

but besides using the MODE button, you should also be able to use the DISC button on your radio. it should now cycle through the factory changer and ivic
