I have a 2006 gs300 awd ml system, I wanted to put my gs3 phone sreen on my ml system
What model do I need and well does it work

I contacted VAIS and they mentioned the new android system will not work with our 06 gs screen because it's using the old system.

It works with the 07 GS navi screen and up because i think he said it's using the newer 4gen screen

I don't know if its the screen or navigation version, 2006 is a gen4 and you need a gen5 or higher for android mirroring to work. I have an 06 as well and looked everywhere for a workaround. The only thing I could find is...

So unless your willing to do some modifications your out of luck.

I think it's the screen/unit is not supported I think, navigation is just the software you can update shouldn't effect the unit function-ability
