They dont seem to know whats wrong with your car, try another dealership or call Lexus Corp.
My GSh is getting repaired by Lexus of Tampa they said its some Fuel Injectors and the Catalytic Convertor. They tried processing a claim thru the warranty company and it was denied (Probably because it was preexisting). I was told the parts were ordered today and they will touch base with me tomorrow. The spark plugs I pulled did have a significant amount of Ash Fouling so I'll probably change them out myself when I get the car back if they don't. What questions should I ask when they call me back should I ask them to do all the injectors? is there only 1 Cat Convertor? If there's 2 do both need to be changed?

Im sure they will have their techs go through the vehicle and fix it properly before handing the vehicle back to you. Just give it time and see what they come up with.
As far as plugs you can buy them pretty cheap off sewell with clublexus discount there like $80 bucks I believe. I would only run oem plugs as these cars are sensitive to plugs

Does anybody know the outcome of these 2 cars? Especially the "stretched" timing chain.
I have had my 450H since November and consider it to be a tank, just like my 2 Lexus' before it.
Toyota makes such a great product

My gs450h triggered a p0300 code, after a top clean did not work. Further diagnostic was needed, that is when they handed the keys to the master technician. He pulled off the valve covers and found that, who ever did the valve spring recall forgot to put 3 critical gaskets back on 2x camshaft gaskets (P#11159-0P010) and 1x oil feed line gasket P#90430-A0001 on the passenger side head. No more rough idle start and p0300 code gone. Hope that might have help a few on here.
