Driver's door feels very heavy, closes hard
recently i noticed that when i close my driver's door with light force, it will close upto a certain point and come back at me a little
the other doors, I can push it a bit and they go all the way closed, however the drivers door i almost have to follow through pushing it all the way in unless i slam it closed
I opened the door, hinges seem intact nothing's loose or anything.. its just really hard to close
anyone else have this problem or know how I can fix this?

1) Try lubing the hinges, first with WD40 to clean out the old lubricant (then wipe all off) followed by White Lithium spray lube. Do the same to the black plastic piece which travels into the door near the hinges (shoot some lube inside the door at that point, too. Also make sure there's no wiring harness jamming.
If this doesn't work, then it's quite possible that the car's frame may have twisted a few thousands of an inch. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do for that.
Another option may be to take off the inner door panel and verify that the black slider piece mentioned above isn't binding on any wiring harnesses inside the door.

It could also be that a hinge has slipped out of alignment with respect to the other one.
You might need a friend to help you with the following:
1)Mark your hinge's original locations with a marker, just in case you want to go back to the original config
2)*SLIGHTLY* loosen off one hinge-to-body bolt at a time and give the door an up-and-down wiggle
3) Tighten and verify if the problem has been corrected. If not, try again, or go to the next hinge.
Similarly, you could go to a reputable body shop and have them re-mount the door. These guys are masters at aligning body panels and could probably help for a small fee.

my rear drivers side door started feeling harder to close. dealer asked me if the car had been hit before. I was like, well, not since I have had it and I bought it from you as a cpo. they said nothing they could do. I don't understand how or why the door suddenly started with this. lubrication has not helped.

I have the same exact problem with my GS. When i bought the car used, the dealer had a 30 day warranty. so i took it back and had them check it out. they said that they lubed everything on the door already but the problem is still there. they then told me that they would have to take the car to a body shop and have them fix it. I didnt end up getting it fixed because it doesnt really bother me that much. not to mention, to have my "new to me" car at a body shop and stay there for god knows how long. i wasnt really excited about that idea. that was april a year ago. so after just about a year of regularly lubing the hinges, the problem is still there...
not trying to be a smart a$$ here but the black thing on the door is called a door check...

Mine had the same issue. The door finally BROKE off at the lower hinge. The dealer (Lexus of Charleston - which has TERRIBLE customer service) said it was a broken hinge and they would NOT cover it (despite being under extended warranty) but the body shop said it was plainly NOT the hinge. It had broken away at the weld where it had apparently not been welded at the proper alignment. It cost me $400 just to have the body shop repair the weld.
