Which Wheel Color for Flint Mica 3GS?
I am debating which wheel color I should go with for my 2007 GS 450h - Flint Mica
I am heavily leaning towards the Avant Garde M310s in 19"
Should I go Flatte Black for more of a contrast or Dolphin Grey which looks to be identical to the Flint Mica?
the mustang has the matte black finish
the IS looks to be a flint mica color w/ the dolphin gray finish on the M310s
that's my stock 450h
by the way, I don't plan on dropping the car at all, if that matters.

I am not a fan of the stock silver wheel look, but I also want to look like a factory option. I think the dolphin gray pulls that off.
Also, if I want to look completely stock w/ silver wheels, I'll just slap the stock wheels back on

Might be quite different in the flesh, but from what I see on my fairly well calibrated screen, there's not enough of a contrast.
You'd be better off going and speaking with a body shop, see if they've any spray cards done from previous jobs - wheels or panels - which would give you some ideas, and that you can put against the paintwork outside in the daylight, to see if it looks the part.

I went withy the Dolphin Grey... Should get them put on 7/5. The gray is slightly lighter than my car and I feel like the black is too aggressive of a look that I can't get away with without dropping the car. I'm going for the factory option look.

I've actually been wondering this myself, since I have an '07 GS with the flint mica. I really would like to get matte graphite Vossens in CV3 or CV5, but don't know how that shade would look on the blueish color of our paint code. Anybody ever put matte graphite Vossens on a flint mica Lex? I think any pics regardless of Lexus model and Vossen wheel design would go a long way...

Then the poster does something like this.....tell us what they like and don't like.
If you already know what you like and don't like, what the heck are you wasting megabytes for?
Buy what you like dude!
Don't buy what you don't like!
Sorry to use your thread as an example for the constant number of similar threads just like this but I couldn't help it.....because you so strongly told us what you like and dsilike.
Rant over!
