question about door key battery change
my car is saying that the battery in the keyless entry is low. has anyone changed this before? do i have to reset it? please lmk. thanks

it uses a CR1632 battery. Anywhere from $1-$5 depending on where you get one.
Remove the metal key from the fob and you'll see a slot in the plastic fob under where the key head fits. Insert the tip of the metal key into the slot and twist slowly, which will separate the two halves of the fob. Once you open the fob, you'll see where the new batter fits. Remove old battery and fit new one. No programming needed. I do mine once a year and keep a spare battery in the console.

You won't end up with a dead car. Even with a dead fob you can still start the car. Place the fob up to the button and there you go. It'll start. It's kind of like the old credit card key but without the key.
