As rominl said, a picture would help! But if you are talking about the old school black strip that goes on the edge of the door, it should just come off with little effort as it is stuck on. Some of those things have tacky stuff on it to make them stick to the door. There may be some residue left once you take them off. You'll have to be careful to use something mild to get the sticky stuff off to keep from screwing up your paint. You may have to apply some heat to it to expand it and it should come off easily. Maybe a hair blow dryer will work.
I had those on a '09 Genesis I had. And they just started to fall off! Not sure if that was a PIO or dealer install. But they could have kept them!

woah, that's the first GS i've seen with a shopping cart bumper. They are dealer installed so there are no holes underneath. It's held with adhesive. I'd spray some goo gone at it, use a hair dryer to warm it up and use dental floss to remove it. That's the procedure for removing emblems so hopefully the adhesive they use isn't too much stronger.

Thank you very much! I guess I'm not too worried about those things then. What I have to worry about now is getting them of without damaging the paint.
Is goo gone not too harsh a product to use?

not really, just be sure to use a polish afterwards to even out the paint and any residual lines in the paint and then wax. Since it's sold by a dealer, can't you ask them to remove it for you? You may have to pay for it but if they screw up they'll have to fix it.

depends how long that thing has been on there too. keep in mind the shade of paint may be slightly different since the paint under the molding has never seen sunlight.
