UAS Installation
Was wondering if anyone knew someone or a shop that specializes in installing air suspension. Specifically Universal Air Suspension products.
My UAS kit arrived last week and looking for someone to help me put it in around the East Bay area. I am willing to commute about 50 miles out of Oakland, CA.
Also my budget is around $6-700.00. Anyone have any recommendations? Or can vouch for someone or a shop?
Thanks!

i was told nothing realy had to be modified. they did say someting about having to attach a bracket to the struts but thats about it. the dude even said it was easy. idk , i might attempt to install this myself. btw, congrats and please tell me how you like the system when its installed. im getting this in a couple of weeks aswell.

another member talked to Zack over at UAS and this was his response, it seems pretty similar to the 2nd gen GS setup
I just spoke with Zack he told me that we would have to modify the rear strut and seems pretty involved. I would need to make a custom bracket to lower the bag down further on strut and fabricate some sort of spacer for the top so it would fit is how I understood it! Im have very little knowledge of air suspension.

Thats funny. Zach from UAS told me the top perch from the front strut needed to be cut and ground down. He never stated any modification to the rear.
However, I spoke with TuanDang (cl member) briefly, whom is in the process of installing his UAS in his 3G GS and he said something in the rear needed to be modified.
Can someone discuss this that has already installed this system in their 3G.
For clarification, I will be running my system on stock shocks. I was also offered a set of modified brackets from Zack of UAS. Opposed to the standard brackets. He claimed that the modified bracket allows me to go lower in the front.

The rear shocks and front shocks do need modification to fit the bags on the stock shocks so it can sit lower if not then the car will still sit pretty high if you just put the bags over the shocks as is

you can put everything together as is but you will find that the car doesn't go very low without modifying the shocks, but UAS can make it go even lower by sending them your shocks and they will cut out the spring seat completely and weld on a completely new bracket and thats an option from UAS for in house modification only, hope this helps.
