I am pretty sure these cars will hold up very well. The rattles and little squeaks we get used to or just dont care as much as the car is getting older

I am guessing you mean the high pressure fuel injectors (DFI) and not the port injectors? I doubt it, the ones on diesel engines last forever and they run at significantly higher pressures than the DFI on gasoline engines. I believe somebody posted that the 2GR-FSE DFI is run at 1,600 PSI, which compares to a modern common rail diesel injector pressure of 15,000-26,000 PSI

I doubt anything engine related will be an issue.

Default GS 350 Mileage

Hello,

I have a 2007 GS 350 which I LOVE! Currently I have 213,000 miles. I'm beginning to have issues with the exhaust manifold, catalyst converter and burning oil. I was hoping to push it to 400,000 miles since I was told that Lexus was capable of doing so. The exterior looks brand new. It is a gorgeous vehicle. I'm trying to decide if I should put some money into repairing it or make a new purchase. Hmmmm......

i didn't think this was supposed to be an issue with the 350 like it is with the 300?
i have a 2008 that i purchased about a month ago with about 135000 and runs like a dream...no major issues that i'm aware of.
