Default Installing Roof Spoiler

I just got the roof spoiler and wondering if only apply the 3M double side tape will be enough? or I also need some kind of adhesive?

i think 3M double sided tape is enough. if you use glue, you're not gonna be able to take it off without damaging the roof spoiler if you plan to sell it in the future...

We just used 3M double sided tape and used some adhesive promoter on my rear window. This should be more then enough.

just make sure you get the industrial grade 3m tape. once you put that on, you should worry about taking it off

As did I. The adhesive promoter is key. The first time I mounted the spoiler it did not take. The second time I used an adhesive promoter (got it online through O'Briens) and put weight on the spoiler for 24 hours. I put a thick wool blanket on the roof and draped it down over the spoiler and window, then put three 9x14 patio blocks on the blanket just atop the roof and spoiler. It has been two years and temperatures from -10 to 99 and the think hasn't budged.
