Just a Guy

I took my GS460 in for an oil change and servicing. I told the service rep that I just noticed a few months ago that they did not include a spare tire or tools in my trunk. The salesman at the time told me I had Yokohama run-flats and didn't need a spare. Upon replacing 2 of my tires, I realized my tires were not run-flats.

The service rep at Lexus of Valencia gave me a spare and filled the trunk compartment with the included tool set. I didn't have to negotiate, plead my case or get upset. They just did the right thing without question. Each and every time I get my car serviced at Lexus of Valencia my expectations are exceeded. This is such a far cry from what I experienced with my previous car, Cadillac STS, and it's horrible service department.

To be honest, I see other cars on the road that I know would be incredible to drive. However, I would find it hard to leave Lexus due to their incredible service and quality of the product.

Lexus always have great service. Of course that great service has a price. These warranty claims are charge to Lexus headquarter. In order for Lexus to maintain a profit, the cost of these warranty claims is built into their cars. You end up paying for it either way.
