I believe they're 9005's and yes, I've done it... Love it... I got mine from V-LEDS and you MUST get their DRL modules so you can ensure no flicker... If you don't get the modules (9.95 each, I believe) your DRLs may flicker due to reduced voltage.

not to bash you, but there are so many threads related to this topic and same questions you've asked. The search feature does come in handy.

i saw pictures of somebody who did that. They're pretty bright if you switch to that LED bulb, but you lose your high beams.

Here you go... Just remember, if you do this... you will lose your high beams.

Thats a nice looking DRL, but what do you do if you need your high beam to see a road sign or something?

there is another thread that shows how to replace the tiny driving light with a new led bulb that will not cause you to lose your high beam. it is just not as bright. can't quite recall where i saw the tread, but if i come across it again i will post. it's either a 168 or 194 series bulb.

The 194 bulb is the parking light, it comes on when the headlight is on, the DRL comes one when the headlight are off. They are in the same housing, so it confuse a lot of people.
