Question MRR HR2, I'm in love again, need your advice

Hello!
I did the search and could not find answers for my questions. Please help me to avoid costly mistakes with my planned setup.

I'm buying the following from one of the vendors for my 06 gs 430 (stock, no lowering plans yet):

- Staggered -
(2F) 19x8.5 +35mm offset MRR HR2 Polished/Silver w/245/35/19
(2R) 19x9.5 +45mm offset MRR HR2 Polished/Silver w/275/30/19

Questions:
1. What happened to titanium finish on this wheel? Seems to be as it was available a year ago.
2. How does 19x9.5 +45mm offset on rear looks like compare to stock? Will it be close to the fender line, how close? Will it rub a fender with tree people and full trunk without even lowering?
3. What do you think of running a "fake staggered setup" on rear such as 19x8.5 +45mm offset to avoid using /30 tire?
4. Now is the main question. How harsh is the ride on 19 compare to stock 18? I'm completely ruling out using 20 as there is pretty much no tire on that wheel. I'm really scared to find out that it is 6 out of 10 or so as I could continue using stock 18 (which I still like) but really want the looks of bigger wheel.

Looks like there were numerous similar wheel discussions on this board already but I can not make a decision without you input .

Thank You
Sergey

1) no idea on mrr stuff
2) it's ok, for sure closer to the fender than stock, but i don't think it will come close to rubbing at all
3) 8.5+45 is actually more inboard than 8.5+35 (front), that would look completely silly. i wouldn't run "fake" staggered as you put it. i don't see the point. if i were to do 8.5 all around, i might as well do the same offset so i can rotate my wheels. and also, you do realize 275/30 and 245/35, they have the SAME sidewall profile right? i don't see how you can worry about 30 profile and not 35
4) hard for me to comment on this, it's very personal. for sure it will get harsher, you have less sidewall. but it's totally fine with me and my passengers. also, 20s don't mean it's much less rubber. if you get 20s with 245/35/20 and 275/20/20, you have the SAME sidewall profile as the 19s you are considering. it will ride the same

Thank you all for great feedback, I went ahead and ordered my wheels. I do have two new questions now:

1. The +45 offset was not available so I got +38 instead (7 mm difference) for the rear. Does anybody have this offset on rear with 9.5? Does it look good? How close it is to the fender line?
2. The proper tire setup for my rear wheels will be 275-30-19. What can you say about running 275-35-19 instead? I do understand that the wheel+tire diameter will be +1 inch and it might make the rear look ugly. Is there any danger in using this option? I would like stay within the specs but also would like to explore the options of beefier tires.

Thank You
Sergey

9.5 +38 should be ok with 275/30/19

why would you want 275/35/19? you are staying 245/35/19 up front? if so 275/30 is the correct matching rear.

Thanks. I'll stick with my originally planned tires. I just want the tallest tires possible for softer ride.

I have seen some posts about non lowered GSs on 20s recently. Does non lowered GS with 19 look as bad as on 20s? Any pics of non lowered GS on 19?

20's....19's...it doesnt really matter. it sounds like your getting a tire setup that is basically the same overall diameter as stock. the only thing that'll look different is you'll have more wheel and less tire. if you got 20's.....you'd have even more wheels and less tire. overall diameter is the same.

either way you do it......putting aftermarket wheels on a stock suspension car isnt gonna look that good! im sure a bunch of people on the forums will agree.

i know when i see a car with aftermarket wheels and stock suspension i just shake my head. i'd rather not waste the money on wheels and roll it bone stock!

^^ correct. even thought you are keeping the same overall diameter of the wheel, the car will look like it has a lift kit on it. its just an illusion because there is the same amount of gap there as when you started.

Thanks, Nice looking car, like the dark tint. My 430 is dark too. I'm already looking for Tanabe NF210.

Fujifuzz, what is the size and offset of your wheels? How harsh is the ride compare to the stock?

Can somebody recommend the vendor service/price/shipping wise to get NF210?

GS330.ru, I have no idea on the offsets of the wheels. I did NOT go staggered on the rims and wheels so i can rotate.

NF210's - Little more noticeable than what people say. I'm a total suspension guru considering I went through 4 different types of springs on the Civic back in the days.
