Storing the GS 450h until spring
So with all the snow and ice we have up here, my car can't be driven anymore until spring (no snow tires). Since I've never had a car that I didn't drive in the snow, this will the first time that I'm actually storing a car through the winter.
Are there any precautions or things to remember when storing the GS through the winter? My main concern will be the battery and the hybrid battery. Do I need to trickle charge the regular battery? Do I need to start the engine to get the motor running?
Any suggestions appreciated!

I store my vette over the winter and i know if i don't put a trickle charger on it the computer sucks the battery dead in about 3-4 weeks. Where as the old chevelle with no modern electronics can sit for months and will still crank over.

Storing the 450h is a bit different than other cars, a trickle charger wouldn't be a bad idea, but starting up the car between every week to every two weeks is NECESSARY. It wouldn't be a bad idea if you could cautiously drive it around the neighborhood so it can gently warm up and get its traction battery charged.
All I know that if you let it go more than 2 weeks there is a high likelihood that the traction battery is dead and they have to two your car to one of the few lexus dealers in the nation that have a special battery charger to get it started again.
The manual has more information, I believe under storage.

Thx for the comments. There is NO way I can drive the 450h - it's literally a skating rink out there, especially the side roads. I would smack into the nearest curb or parked car for sure with the Michelin Primacy summer tires I have on.

I wanted 450H badly, but that exactly the reason I went with 350 AWD...
