yea but those are kind of mistakes that you do for once or twice, it's seriously not that hard to memorize the button locations but then some people are better with orientation i guess, i am the kind that can txt msg a full paragraph while driving without looking at my phone

the point I was trying to make is that the interior lighting in the 3GS IMHO isn't perfect. especially the trunk lighting.

is666- oh neato if its bright I wouldn't mind it. I wonder if I can fit it somewhere without removing my fogs. I wonder if it looks tacky. like a rice car with a dim looking led light system...

The bottom line is, we ALL know it is very wrong to do which is also why Lexus chose to disable the Nav while the vehicle is in motion.
And I know that you also know it wrong, but you've been lucky thus far so you've convinced yourself it's OK to do.
Take care my friend.

Well this didn't happen in my cars but when I was driving someone else's car last month, I couldn't find the Homelink button to open the garage door and I ended up passing the driveway of the house. Mind you I was probably going 10, maybe 15 MPH... Imagine on the road going 45, 50 or even faster on the highway trying to find the map light. Anyways, I'm probably dumber since I can't/don't txt while driving.
