Default What is your opinion on this car?

I just wanted to ask you guys your opinion on this GS for sale. I know alot of you guys lease or buy brand new so look at this with an open mind because my budget is around $30K. Do you think this car can be bought for 28-29. It has Navi. I have been looking around at a ton of wholesalers and if i get the car fax and it turns out clean, i will pull the trigger on it. Let me know what you guys think and I will post the link. thanks in advance Also, even if any has a car fax account, let me know if the car has been in an accident or water damage, i really don't mind a fender bender, just don't want to buy a headache.

I think if you can get it for about 28-29 and it is super clean besides the ghetto grill, it is a good buy, for reference I bought a ML / Nav Gs in may with 38k miles, tint, sirius, chrome spider G and new tires for 32....my car had no dents at all, perfect paint, lexus maintained

Thats is a good buy, especially that is has Navi. Congrats on that one, I know if i look around and am willing to take one with around 50K miles, i can probably get it around 29, but it has to have Navi for me.

Looks good.

The only bad thing is the mileage. Otherwise, it looks good.

Also, if the original owner changed the grill, check for other modifications he may have done, especially to the engine. You want to make sure you don't find anything that may compromise the quality of the car...

I would think 27-29 is very doable.
Also, I wouldn't worry about the mileage so much, it's a lexus, it will run 150K+ no problem.

I was thinking the same thing Jace7, the mileage is a little high, but it is a Lexus so i don't worry too much about it. I plan on keeping the car for 5 or 6 years so i don't worry too much about the trade-in value. My father has a 02 Explorer with 140,000 miles on it and the truck runs like new, so i would imagine that a Lexus would be even better with high mileage.

Keep in mind, it probably needs a 45k service, which really is not a big deal, perhaps brakes, mine needed brakes this week at 43k miles, that ran me 300 at lexus stealership....you can do it your self for 1/2 that with having someone turn rotors for you, anyways....good luck with the negotiations

Thanks, i am also looking at a few other ones on autotrader as well, I am from NJ, but i don't mind driving 500 miles if it means me finding what i want and also a good deal, i'll probably start out locally and work myself further away if i have some bad luck.

Price is good, Mileage is kinda high but the price is makes up for it. I really like the grill. Try to bring it down a tad more. Id buy it, just check for any other mods. (engine, exhaust, etc)

As others have said, it seems like a good price. But I don't like the grills or the wheels. JMO...

Form the VIN and mfr date, looks like an early production GS300 and you are affected by the fuel line recall (as I was). If you complete the deal, get it to the dealer and make sure they perform the service...under warranty of course. Otherwise looks like a good deal...Good luck.

JMLexus sells that grill as a dealer option so it may not have been changed by the previous owner.
The price is right. I'd try to get the seller either lower it a couple g's or have them include a warranty. If they lower the price use the money to buy the warranty yourself.
