new guy with a wheel question...?
So these xxr wheels are on sale for valentines day, my 2002 Lexus GS430 is still siting on stock suspension. Front struts, and rear factory air ride. The wheel size id like buy is
18x8.5 +25 Front
18x10 +12 Rear
I know I will have to roll the fenders at least, I have no intensions to slam the car but maybe coil overs later on. I'm hoping this offset achieves a wide look in the rear with out spacers. I'm still not sure on tire sizes yet. I guess my question is will this offset be to aggressive for a car on stock suspension, then maybe lowered 1-2 inches later on? iv searched the wheel fitment thread and I guess this offset would fall into the "professional" category? any advice would be appreciated.

It's going to look ridiculous at stock height.
But the front wheel will fit easily without modification unless you lower it 2" or more. 225/40, not because it needs it for clearance but so it matches the rear which will. If you do a 235/40 on the rear it'll be a moderate stretch and you can make up the rest with fender modification and/or camber.
This has all been covered, if not exactly, then nearly. I suggest revisiting the wheel fitment thread and 18" wheel thread for more insights. Rimtuck.com is also a good resource.
Also, I hate to break it to you but the GS430 does not have factory air ride. Only the LS430 was available with this option. Coil springs all around.
