I want to if these newest Gen steering wheels will fit the 2nd Gen cars... I'm sure I'll have to chance the air bag harness not worried bout the radio controls etc ??

Splines, yes (as far as I've heard so far), wiring- no, airbag- no.

A search my yield better results. It has been done before with full working radio air bag and (if applicable) paddle controls. Depends on what wheel you want to use.

Even if you can mess with the wiring to get the airbag to function, it's not meant to function in the cabin of an S160 or with the rest of the SRS, so good luck in your accident. Paddle controls work because it's just a simple switch and the GS is already wired for it. Well, the GS400 and the GS300 with sport shift. I never got a solid answer on the GS430.

kenny26cum, Please conduct your own research and don't just listen to mediocre advice. You will find that a lot of people have tried and acomplished different goals with steering wheel DIY's. Don't just take someone's word for it. search around and make your own conclusions.

But yes, there are posts here in the 2nd gen GS forum about wiring IS paddle shift into the GS's Sport Shift wiring. But like I said, the airbags are different, and the wiring for the radio is uncharted territory.
