remove the ridiculously heavy seats, change out stock suspension to coil overs, remove the carpeting, if you have a sunroof take it out and weld metal sheet to fill hole, change hood and trunk to carbon fiber, there's a million things to do, question is do you want it to still be luxurious, quiet, smooth riding, etc? Or are you looking for a track car, if so, gut everything. period.

Everything in the trunk....rear seats will be the easiest. Then I would go front seats after you buy aftermarket.
Then suspension and wheels

Carbon hood, fiberglass trunk. Those are both huge, heavily braced steel pieces with a lot of insulation. Speaking of insulation: these cars have a lot of it, so pitch it in the garbage if you don't mind having the cabin noise of an 80's Tercel. Fiberglass bumpers and fenders. Sunroof delete, all like o7is250 said. Depends how far you want to go, but there is excess weight everywhere on this car. If you want to make it a bit lighter but still have to deal with it every day, you may want to consider going easy and maybe just removing the back seat, speakers, and some insulation from areas other than the cabin, like the trunk or under the hood. There are fiberglass/carbon panels available for most of the bodywork but then you lose crash protection.

I removed the ash tray assembly. I don't smoke. And it even has a light in it which is extra weight. When you get it out you have a great spot to put your wallet/sunglasses/phone. On the downside you lose a power outlet.
