Looking at how the body shop painted my front bumper, they seem to have taped off and not painted a portion of the bumper behind the grille, before painting the rest of the bumper. It's not a bad look (except that I am not crazy about the overspray and the tape edge), but something looks funky to me. Is this the way it was painted when new, or should the whole bumper be body color? Can anyone with OEM paint on their car check?

Each of the bumpers I've seen all have had that black edge under the grill. I think it's right.

ah, you're a better googler than me, I searched using "GS300 bumper" and got a bunch of aftermarket bumper images . Image number 29,873 had the answer I needed .

So I guess this is right, not counting the so-so execution. Thanks guys.

It looks ok to me. A little spray got by, but I have seen a lot worse.
